As soon as Ellie finished south state competitions for level 3, she started learning routines for level 4. Her first meet was in January in San Antonio. Her gym wants her to do a couple of competitions at level 4, check it off, and then move up to level 5. Since she had just started learning the routines for level 4, she only got to compete on floor and beam. She did fantastic! She got a 9.150 on floor and a 8.05 on the beam. She said she was shaking when she started beam because her friend had just fallen off the beam and gotten a huge beam bite and shown her the bruise that was forming, and then she had to step up. She missed her cartwheel, which she never does, and then as a result went over on time. Her score was still really high, and we were very proud of her. This meet had professional photographers there, and they got some amazing pictures of her. I love how graceful she is and how pretty her lines are.
