Ellie is 15!

Ellie turned 15, which means she was able to get her permit!  Since Covid hit, the DMV has been super busy so she had to make an appointment and even though it was a couple of months before her birthday, she wasn't able to make the appointment for the same day as her birthday. That's ok, she was able to get her permit and start driving immediately.  So far so good, she's a great driver!

Ellie is super busy with track and cheerleading, keeping on top of her advanced classes, and keeping up with her social life.  She always has lots of friends and likes to spend time with them whenever she can.  She is quite helpful, when asked to do something, she does it and does it well.  She likes to give me looks like I am crazy, or leave crazy pictures on my phone, so I decided to fill this post with some of those pictures.

 

Michael is 17!

This boy quietly turned 17. He is a great part of our family.  He keeps himself busy with working at Chic-Fil-A, taking a tough schedule of 4 AP and 1 dual-credit classes, and designing things to print on his 3d printer. He helps by driving Ellie to some of her social activities. He's quite a capable person, when asked to do something, he quickly does it and does it well.  He is very interested in SpaceX and follows what is going on with that company.  He want to be an aeronautical engineer when he grows up.  He is quite knowledgeable about the world around him and isn't afraid to express his opinion. His political views differ from me and Joe's and I love that he isn't afraid to express them and own them. I'm glad I get him around for the next year and a half because he's a great part of our family.
