First day of School 2016

Yesterday was the first day of school.  Adam starts seminary this year, and the crazy time of 5:50 am.  Luckily, he didn't have it the first day of school, so he only had to catch the bus at 6:11 am.  He still got up at 4:50 and was ready by 5 and then got to play on his computer until it was time to leave.  He's in 9th grade at a 9-10th grade school that is adjacent to the high school  (the high school is super overcrowded so this is their solution).  He has a couple of classes at the high school so he has to rush over.  He's taking tennis and intro to business this year.
Nate left next.  He is in 3rd grade.  He seemed to be happy to go to school, and when he got to school he happily sat in his desk and was excited to start.  He even came home happy.
Ellie is at a new school, an intermediate school.  There are a lot of kids at the new school so she doesn't have any friends in her class.  She's in 5th grade.  She is taking art, and she gets to ride the bus or bike this year.  She did come home from school and tell me about the two new friends she made.
Michael is in 7th grade.  He's also at a new school.  He is continuing on in band (percussion) and also taking teen leadership- which is a fun speaking class.

Looks like it will be a fun year, as long as we can get past the 4 kids at 4 different schools.
