Petroglyphs

We took a drive from Pangiutch one day down to the Parowan Gap to see some petroglyphs. In the middle of nowhere is a gap in two mountains and there are a bunch of rocks with writing on them. They were pretty fascinating to look at, and there was quite a bit of petroglyphs there. (There was also quite a bit of non-petroglyph writing there). It was interesting to see that over time the "real" petroglyphs seemed to be more permanent as if the ancient peoples were more interested in permanancy that the modern people.

If you are ever passing through Parowan, Utah and you have an extra 1/2 hour they are quite fascinating, you should drive by.
