Grandpa Frost's 65th Birthday

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Joe's family came to visit a couple of weekends ago. It was Grandpa Frost's 65th birthday, so Austin thought it would be fun to have everyone gather together to celebrate with him.

So, Grandpa and Grandma Lucy, Jonathon, Kayti and Jayne all came to visit. No one brought their kids, so it was a little less hectic. The first day, we went up to our land where Joe made the zipline and Austin grilled us yummy steaks.

Kayti, Jon and Austin also tried out Joe's moped.

We also had a cake for Grandpa. All the "Frost" grandkids.

Sunday everyone was exhausted so we caught them all sleeping.

This is the distance shot, Jayne is asleep under the blanket, Grandpa on the couch, Joe on the other couch and Austin in the recliner. After I took this picture I went in and curled up and took a short nap...

Later on, there was some heavy duty jiu-jitsu wrestling...something we are fairly used with Joe and Austin.

We also had the Survivor food challenge. Joe, Kayti, Jayne and Dad all went fishing one morning too. It was great to see everyone, and spend some time with them.

Just for fun, here are some pictures of Nate and William and Ellie and Lily. They all play really well together, Nate and William especially. They have been having a play date one day a week this year as Koni and I would trade babysitting, and it has worked out really well, especially to give them a chance to be friends.
