Michael did his Eagle project this last Saturday. Over the summer, he collected bikes that people donated. Then he gathered people together and they spent a couple of hours fixing up the bikes and tuning them. Most of the bikes needed new tubes, so a lot of the work was done replacing the tubes on the tires. Some are f the bikes needed the gears worked on.
Now that the bikes are all fixed, he is going to donate them to the organization Direct Hope. Direct Hope works directly with homeless people to help feed them and get them back on their feet. The bikes will be used by these people to get to jobs or doctors appointments.
I’m so proud of him for all of the work he put into this project!!
