Ellie had a lot of fun on her freshmen cheer team. Since we were in the middle of the Covid pandemic, they had to cheer all the time with masks on, even while they were outside cheering for football. For basketball, they had to split into two cheer teams and cheer toward the basketball players with their masks on. The basketball players were allowed to play without masks, however. In the audience at football we were supposed to wear masks, but no one did, but at basketball, since we were inside more people wore masks. Ellie was a base in a stunt group with Sydney, Jaysen and Bridget. Cheer is only every other day at school for freshmen.
The girls got to do a team bonding event- goat yoga. It was super fun for them!
