Fishing

We got to the cabin about 5 days before Joe did.  Once Joe came, one of the things we did almost every day was go fishing.  Grandpa has a pontoon boat so everyone can go fishing at the same time.  The kids love it, and I enjoy sitting still and reading. Nate really enjoyed playing with the worms until we finally prohibited him from doing so because we would run out of worms when we fished.
Michael, a boy after my own heart, spent most of the time reading.
The first day out we only caught 5-6 fish, but soon Joe figured out that the fish were biting on just one of the three poles.  After that, he rigged all of the poles to have the same flashers and bait on them and we would catch 15-18 fish in the 1-2 hours we were out.  In fact, he couldn't keep up with the fish and often there would be two or three hit at once.  Sadly, I didn't have a fishing license so all I could do was sit back and watch them reel the fish in;)

 Our fearless driver:

Sometimes, when the fish would bite, Mike would go and reel them in.

Halfway through the week, my brother came.  These two had the best time dancing around the boat and messing around.  Double trouble.
Clell's family.  The baby Lucas was at the cabin with grammie, who hates to fish.

A couple of times, Clell would have Nate and Juliana help him reel in his pole.  It took a team effort, but they could do it.
By the end of the week, we were all fished out.  We released all of the fish except 3 since most of the adults didn't enjoy eating the fish they caught.
