Nate finished 10th grade! He was busy in 10th grade with wrestling, and hard classes. He took algebra II, advanced english, chemistry, AP history medical terminology and theatre tech. He thought he might want to do more in theatre, but after taking the class, he realized that he really didn't want to. He enjoyed the medical terminology class, and did really well in that. Wrestling was a little bit of a surprise for all of us. He had spent his whole life wrestling with his dad every chance that he got. When he started wrestling, he found out that he was in one of the most competitive weight classes just because there were so many kids that were at that weight. He didn't want to change weight classes, so he spent so much of the year worried about what he was eating and not eating much so that he could "cut" and not go up a weight class. Partway through the year we found out that the coach did something wrong with his paperwork and he wouldn't be allowed to wrestle because his paperwork was not turned in correctly. It was so frustrating. He was allowed to wrestle as like the third string at a meet, but that was it. He basically starved himself for a whole semester and was never allowed to compete.
He was very involved in young mens activities and they did several fun activities. This was at our old ranch. Over the summer before his junior year, Joe got a job at Tesla in Austin, and so he moved to Austin, and worked there and I stayed behind with Nate and started to think about getting the house ready to sell. We sold the ranch and got our local rental properties ready to be self-sufficient. This is Nate visiting the ranch under the new owners. Around the new year, Joe got his old job back and moved back home. We were all relieved to have him back and not have to move to Austin. He passed Joe up in height. He was pretty excited about that.

He also loved playing video games, hanging out with his cousin, Will. He got a 3d printer and figured out how to print with it and was constantly printing and designing new things for it.
