Grandpa Frost is here to visit us for a week. The first day he was here both Joe and Austin had to work, so he got to hang out with the grandkids during the day. We got him to take us bowling. Ellie had never been, so when I went to help her put her shoes on, she started to freak out. I convinced her (or coerced her as the case may be) to put the shoes on. Then when it was time to go up to bowl she again was not at all interested. After I showed her how to granny roll the ball, she actually enjoyed bowling. Michael got very involved in his throws.
After one of Michaels rolls, the ball moved so slowly that it stopped halfway down the alley. We had to throw another ball (which missed the first one) and then the second ball we threw after it, helped it to go down. Emma and Lily came too, here's Lily:

Isn't Ellies form so cute?

Adam loved it:

Grandpa must have been feeling his age a little because he didn't bowl as well as we had been led to believ he usually does (and that was with bumpers).

I have to say that bowling with bumpers is a lot more fun, then you can actually knock down pins every time you hit. Of course, if you are trying to bowl while carrying a 29 pund toddler, it is a little less productive.

We had two little helpers there with us...although they are SOO cute, it was a lot of work chasing them down, keeping them out of other people's lanes, and keeping their fingers off the "reset" button.

It was worth it though.
Thanks, Grandpa!
