New Years Eve

We had a New Year's Eve Party at our house last night. It was fun, we invited mostly friends from our ward, but also a couple of friends from the neighborhood over. Joe invented a couple of the year contest with 4 different rounds:
The first round the wife had to throw Swedish fish into their husbands mouth, and we saw who could catch the most in 2 minutes. There were some men surprisingly good at catching food in their mouths.
The second round involved mini-marshmallows and hitting the husbands in the face (check out the carpet):
The third round was a series of questions like the newlywed game. The highlights were who is more annoying, your mother or mother-in-law, does your husband make more or less than you thought he would be making at this stage in your marriage, and who is smarter, you or your husband. It was very fun to hear everyone's answers.
The final round the men lined up and one by one we women had to go down the line and guess who was who by feeling the men's shoulders (we had our eyes closed). I did horrid at this, but Koni got a perfect score, and she didn't even know some of the guys!
The winner of the couple of the year was Doug and Jena...congrats!
Its so fun to be married to Joe, he has such great ideas and he really is great in front of people.
I hope everyone has a great new year!
