The day I really dreaded finally came-the day to take Michael to college. The night before, we all went out to dinner to celebrate his last day with us. We also took a family picture in the living room, it's crazy to me that I am the shortest now!
We got up early because the window we were given to move Michael into the dorms was pretty early. We drove up and had troubling finding parking. Finally we figured out we could park on the street right outside his dorm. We unloaded all his things, helped him put a few things away and then headed out to Walmart. Walmart was crazy busy (of course) but we were able to find him a couch for his dorm and all the things we needed. We got him lunch, helped him get his couch set up and then left. As soon as we closed the door he yelped with joy. What a brat!
It's so hard to have your kids do amazing things and move on with their lives!
