Joe's Cybertruck

When Elon Musk announced the Cybertruck and that you could get on a waiting list, Joe jumped on it.  In fact, he got on the waiting list 3 times, for three trucks.  Then there was a really long wait.  When he started working at Tesla, he found out he could be put in a special program where he would get to jump to the front of the list and get his cybertruck before everyone else.  He thought that was a great idea.  Then he hated his job at Tesla.  He decided about Christmas time that he was going to go back to his job at Arb energy, with one contingency- he wouldn't move until he took delivery of his cybertruck.  He told them that at about Christmas time, thinking that it would still be several months before they got to his name on the list.  Then a few days later, they called him and said that if he could take delivery before the end of the year, that he could have his cybertruck now.  He jumped on that chance.  So on December 31st, he got his cybertruck, number 516 to be made.

The stainless steel is a beast to keep clean, so he had it wrapped in a green color.  The color he chose was perfect, in some lights it had a blue hue, in some it was forest green, and in some it was kind of sap green.

At first it was hard to drive because it was such a novelty that people would stop and stare and honk at you when you drove by.  You couldn't change lanes because people would be slowed down in the lanes next to you to gawk at the truck.  Everywhere we went, people would take pictures of us and ask us questions about our truck.  It was both fun and annoying.
