Adam and Macy moved to Chicago

At the end of the summer, Adam and Macy packed up a Uhaul and moved their stuff to Chicago.  When they were furnishing their apartment in Spring, they were very careful to not buy furniture that would be big and that they would have to transport all the way to Chicago.  Instead, they borrowed furniture from both us and the Wests or got hand-me-downs that they could throw away at the end of the summer.  Then when it was time to move, they had a much smaller, more manageable U-haul that they had to drive between here and Chicago.  

They moved into an apartment on the south side of downtown Chicago, on the 23rd floor.  They have a view of Grant park and Lake Michigan and can easily get to the el.

The day they drove away, Beca and I were out running and said goodbye to them in the parking lot before they drove away.
