In the middle of the summer, Nate decided to apply for a job at Chic-Fil-A. He got involved and really started working about the time that school started. He was super busy with a lot of classes and also working 20-30 hours a week at Chic-Fil-A. He kept asking them to give him less hours to work, but they never did work with him on his schedule like he wanted them to. Eventually, he quit so that he could have more time to do jiu jitsu and work toward higher grades.
They give you a free meal every shift that you work. Nate would come home after his shift and eat his meal. He would always give one chicken nugget or small piece of chicken to Marley, so she started getting excited for him to come home so she could get a treat from him. Then she would watch him while he ate, staring at him hoping for more!
