Ellie got to move in to her dorm on August 15. She was so excited. She got Adam and Michael and Joe all to volunteer to help with carrying stuff to her room. She had spent several weeks before coordinating with her roommate, who she had never met to have matching bedding and decorations. Then we drove her to College Station in the cybertruck- because wouldn't it be cool to be dropped off at school in a Cybertruck?
We all loaded up as much as we could, and we were able to take everything to her room in one trip.
Our arms and dollies were very full in that one trip.
Then we had some free time, so we went to walmart and bought some things for her dorm and Cavendars and Joe got us all cowboy hats because how can you be a proper Texas without a cowboy hat?
Then we said goodbye to Ellie. She was too stressed with having us around to have us actually stay and help her set up her room. I think there were too many people in her room and some of them might have been stressed about where things were going and how they were going there.
She did send me a picture once her room was all decorated so I could fully appreciate it.
And this is her and her roommate, Tess, soon after they moved in.
