Texas A & M has several huge traditions around granting their students aggie rings. They are not allowed to get them until they have 90 credit hours, so almost a senior. Michael and his roommates all were eligible to get them during the same semester, so they decided to do it together and have a big party to celebrate. One of the traditions is that when you get your ring, you have a former Aggie put it on you. Adam flew in from Chicago to put Michael's ring on him.
Sydney got her ring a few weeks before Michael. They both have one-wheels and they like to ride them around together sometimes.
Everyone had an Aggie shirt....except Michael.
The TAMU sign is a thumbs up, and then they also have another hand sign of horns down, that Joe and I are showing- which is putting down the University of Texas Longhorns.

After he got his ring, we had a lot of time before he had his ring dunk party, so we got ice cream, made a super long trip to Costco all packed into a too small car, and ate dinner.
The ring dunk tradition is where you put your ring in the bottom of a pitcher of something, usually beer and drink it down until you get to the ring at the bottom. This was done on Michael's 21st birthday, so he guzzled flat beer. He struggled to get it all down, and then as soon as it was down, he went and threw it up. But as long as it went down at first, it counted!
Success!!
Michael's house has a living room where they built a double decker to have more couch space. When we were sitting in the living room, Joe said- wow, that couch looks just like the couch I had in my trailer at the ranch. We all laughed at him because that is the same couch. He responded like this.
