Adam designed a very elaborate proposal for Macy. He planned a trip with her to Colorado, but he didn't tell her they were going to Colorado. Instead, she thought they were going to College Station for a few days. When they got to Colorado, they went on several hikes and went to a concert. On Monday morning, they went on a hike to see the sunrise.
Meanwhile, Adam had flown Michael out to Colorado to be their photographer. That was great, but since Macy didn't know, he had to rent a car on his own. He isn't 21, so car rental companies won't rent to him. Uhaul, however, would rent to him, so Adam got him set up with a Uhaul. Uhaul didn't have as stringent requirements, in fact, he checked the car out online without ever seeing a person. Uhaul did call both Joe and I to use us as references for him before he took the car. When Michael got to Colorado, he drove out to the mountain where Adam told him he was going to be proposing. He scoped out the area and sent Adam pictures and videos of where he would be hiding so that Adam knew exactly how to set up his pictures. Then Adam had Michael set up to spend the night in a YMCA camp place. Michael got up super early and went and set up his camera equipment before Adam and Macy got up there, and then he hid behind a rock. Adam and Macy walked up and had a picnic as they watched the sun rise. Then he got down on one knee and proposed to her. She said "yes!" After the special moment had passed, he said, "Michael you can come out now." Macy was surprised that Michael was there.
Overall, it was a perfect engagement for a wonderful couple.
