Nauvoo Trip

 The youth from our stake went on an overnight trip to Nauvoo this summer.  They traveled overnight on a bus to get up there, spent three days in Nauvoo, and then traveled overnight to get home.  On the way home, they stopped in Independence, Missouri.  All the youth got divided into groups with a ma and pa leaders.  They spent most of their time together with these groups.

When Nate got home, he didn't tell me much about his trip.  We had hoped that he would have the experience of getting to know more people in the stake by interacting with them on such a trip.  When school started up a few weeks later, Nate seemed to have more people to hang out with at lunch, and so it seems he did get to know more people while on this trip.
