Grandpa Frost's Funeral

Grandpa Frost died on February 14, 2026.  He went to sleep and the nurse noticed his oxygen was a little low, so she gave him some oxygen.  Then she came to check on him a couple of hours later and he was gone.  He was already on hospice so it was not an unexpected end, it was just surprising that he went from talking and walking and cognizant to gone in such a short time.

He was buried in Taylor, AZ near his family.  All of his children and many of his stepchildren and ex-wife, Lucy, came to his funeral.

The day of the funeral, Aunt Laurie (Jeff's brother, Gibb's widow) cooked us all breakfast.  Many of her kids also made the trip to come to the funeral.

Aunt Laurie lives on the property that used to be Frost Ranch.  While we were there, we stopped by a couple of the old ranch site.  The old barn.

He was cremated and then buried in this special box that Margie made for him.

After the funeral and graveside, the Hall children and Frost children and their children (Jeff's grandchildren) all met at an Airbnb that we were staying at and we visited for a couple of hours.  It was a big deal because over the years there had been a lot of bad feelings between the Frosts and the Halls and the Frosts and Lucy.  Not everything was resolved, but the meeting was overall peaceful and resorative.
