Ellie had one of her competitions in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, it was the same weekend in which Grammie and Grandpa had a trip to Africa planned, but they were kind enough to let us stay at their house and borrow their car.
We got in on Thursday night. I met my high school friend, Maria, for breakfast. Then we went to the stirp and were tourists for a while. Clell met us there for a little bit. Friday evening, we went to dinner with my jr high friend, Angela and her daughter, then we went and saw the show O. It was one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen.
Saturday morning we went shopping, and then her competition was on Saturday afternoon. They did well. We spent the evening at the amusement park at Circus Circus and got dinner at In and Out. Sunday we spent with Clell's family. We went to church with him and then he took us to a magic show that was pretty cool. We flew home on Monday. It was a fun trip, and it was especially fun to be tourists in Las Vegas for a change!
