School shut down in March to prevent the spread of Covid. At first it was just going to be for a week. Then 2 weeks, then a month and then finally for the rest of the year. For the first bit, no one did any school work. Then they made work for school, and it was going to be graded, but not too hard. Then they changed even those rules and you couldn't get a grade lower than the last quarter. Since the kids were happy with their 3rd quarter grades, they suddenly stopped doing their work. I tried to make them work, but then after a while, I too gave up. It ended up that only Michael and Adam worked and that was to prepare for the AP tests. These pictures are taken when they were getting ready to take the test. This will be the only year in recorded history that the kids get to take their AP tests in their pajamas. They did pass all their tests, although they weren't as happy with their scores as they hoped, but in the end they were just glad to be done. Especially Adam.
I didn't have a picture of Ellie on the last day, but she was always having friends over to swim, and this was on one of those days.
