Nate had his birthday in the middle of quaratine. He wanted to have some friends over for a party, so we allowed him to have a few friends to come and swim with him. For his cake he wanted a cake with his face on it. He made the most awful face and had me take a picture, then we asked HEB to make it into a cake. It was something else.
For candles, we had a separate piece of cake that he could blow them out on.His friends swam on a big floatie, played on the trampoline with ice, make cotton candy, ate a lot of candy, and generally had fun.
Nate is a great addition to our family. He loves to be needed and when he wants to, he is the biggest help ever. He is a good worker, and loves to learn how to help out with things. He loves his TV shows, the standard type that tweens like. He loves to cook and is quite helpful in the kitchen, often trying out his own ideas for recipes or taking the recipe that you have and making it up to help with dinner. He has several friends and he loves to play video games with them, go on bike rides with them or swim in the pool with them. He also likes to learn about interesting physics things. He will search them up on youtube and learn about them. Then he has all of this information stored in his head that he will tell you about if you let him. He loves to talk to people and when he's in a chatty mood he will tell you everything that he has learned about and thought about for the last little while and why that is important. We are lucky to have him!
