Baby Bunnies

For Christmas, Nate really wanted some baby bunnies. He researched what type he wanted to get and all of the supplies that he would need. He also talked to Joe and set up cages for them.  Then, shortly after Christmas, they went and got two Holland lob baby bunnies.  He let them grow for a little while and then he decided he wanted to breed them.  This was the plan all along, he thought he could make some good money breeding and selling the baby bunnies.  He tracked the bunny's ages and when they were old enough, he mated them.  Then he kept track of the days of the pregnancy.  When it was about time for the bunny to deliver, he made a special box for her to have her babies in.  She had 5 baby bunnies.  They were so cute, and everyone loved holding them.  

They even messed with Marley and had her "hold" the bunnies on occasion.  In fact, Marley was very interested in the rabbits.  Every time she would go outside, she would run and check on the bunnies before she did anything else.

He ended up selling one of the rabbits, but then he couldn't find buyers for the other rabbits.  After a while he researched how to most humanely kill them and he learned how to skin them and tried preparing them for dinner.  That didn't work as well as he would have liked, so he tried it again and worked on tanning their hides to make into gloves.
