In early November, we took a trip to visit two of the colleges that Michael applied to. The first college was Purdue. It was a brisk, rainy fall day, and Michael liked the change in weather from the Texas weather he was used to.

He enjoyed the campus and was really impressed with the new engineering building.

The next day, we went down to Atlanta to go to Georgia Tech. The first meeting we had at Georgia Tech was an aerospace engineering information meeting. They mentioned that they had a liquid rocket engine team and Michael was immediately sold. He loved the old beautiful buildings on the campus and all the things about Georgia Tech. After visiting, he totally changed how he felt about Georgia Tech and anxiously awaited hearing to see if he got in.
That night, we had fun walking around the campus at night.
The next day, we went to the Georgia Aquarium and then we drove around and went to the first ever Chic-Fil-A and the first Chic-Fil-A in a mall and tried some of the other Chic-Fil-A's around. It was fun!
