The first day that Adam was home from college, all the kids were sitting around complaining that there was nothing to eat in the house. Joe decided we should go to Walmart and buy everything that they wanted to eat. The kids really enjoyed this. We ended up with two carts full of things and it wasn't just food. The total was over $500, but that was the highlight of the Christmas vacation for the kids in many ways.
Adam got a sweater from Macy to wear at Christmas so he is modeling it here.
On Christmas eve, we had our traditional Christmas eve party and nativity. We invited the Wests, but they had Covid in their house, so we had to do it ourselves and even Joe got involved in playing a part in the nativity.
Then we got dressed in our Christmas pj's we got on our shopping spree. Marley even participated!
Adam was so excited to get his own hand knit cable blanket.
The aftermath:
The kids took a nap as soon as they were done opening presents!
Christmas day, we all went to dinner at Shogun.
