Michael did so well on the PSAT that he became a National Merit Scholar. Here he is being recognized as a Semi-finalist at the Conroe ISD district meeting.
He also got a DAR good citizen award from the Daughters of the American Revolution group. He got to come to their meeting and read his essay to the group.
He and Yasmeen were the two kids from Grand Oaks that were National Merit Scholars.
They also had an award ceremony and recognized one student from his grade to be the Most Outstanding Grizzly, and Michael was picked for that award.
