Eagle Scout Court of Honor

The boys officially earned their Eagle over the summer.  This is them on the way to their Eagle Board of Review.  Adam had all of his stuff for Eagle done last summer, it just took a year for the people in leadership to get his paperwork taken care of enough for him to get to the Board of Review.  Michael's was done last fall.  Adam had his interview first because he had to get back to work, so technically he was done first.
We were able to do their court of honor together.  It was a lovely event- we had it at the church.  Grammie and Grandpa Stratton came into town to celebrate with them.
Michael requested that Ellie make him a layered cake, and so she did. She also made all the cupcakes.

Each boy had a table with a display of all of the awards and projects that they had made over the years.  Michael's:

I am so unbelievably proud of these two boys.  It was a lot of work to earn their Eagle, and they did all of the paperwork themselves.  There are so many valuable things that they have learned from completing this, and I hope they are able to draw upon those things for the rest of their lives.
