We had two separate events of snow in 2017-2018 winter. The first one was before Christmas the kids enjoyed going out and playing in it. The second was right after school started back up- it was so cold we got enough snow that the kids could build snowmen and they had snowball fights at school. The dog didn't know what to do with the snow, but she thought it was pretty fun.
We thought it was crazy that we had a hurricane and snow in the same year, but someone who has lived here longer than me said that it is pretty normal if you have a hurricane then the winter is more severe than normal.
