Ellie’s cheer

Ellie had a great football season of cheer.  They cheered about once a week, usually for the 7th grade team, but sometimes they would combine with the 8th grade cheerleaders and cheer for an 8th grade team.  (Each grade had 4 football teams).  They even got to go and cheer for Michael's school's football team on one game.  They would cheer during the game and then take breaks during half time.  Ellie was a flier which means that she got to be the one on the top of all of the stunts.

The way the coaches positioned the girls on the field is that the eighth graders were in the front and then the seventh graders were in the back.  The fliers were always in the last row.  So Ellie was always in the back row.  It was still super fun to watch her do all her cheers, and after a while, I had all of the cheers memorized.
This was at Grand Oak's football game.  This is all of Ellie's team cheerleaders and all of the high school cheerleaders.
They also got to perform at pep rallies.  At one of the pep rallies- the pink out assembly, they did a dance with the drill team.  This is the drill team and the cheer team together.

It was super fun to go to the games and watch Ellie perform!
