Homecoming 2018

Adam asked his girl, Ashlyn to Homecoming.   He said he spent 4 hours making the sign, but he came up with the idea and the costumes and crown all by himself.  Of course, she said, "yes!"

In Texas, there is this crazy tradition where the boy makes his date a mum for her to wear on the day of the homecoming game and to the game.  It is this monstrous creation with tons of ribbon and extra decorations.  Adam is in floral design this year, so he made most of it in his floral design class.  Then I went ahead and helped him with the final pieces.

The girls also make one for their date that they wear on their arm.  It is fun and completely crazy all at once!

On the night of homecoming, they got dressed up and went out, although they didn't actually go to the dance.  Instead we took lots of pictures and they ate dinner at someone's house and watched  a movie.  Although Adam and Ashlyn have been an item for a while, this technically was their first date.
