Ellie is a teenager!

Ellie just turned 13.  Even though she has been acting like a teenager for a very long time, she is finally officially one.  She didn't want any cake for her birthday, just ice cream--so she got her candles in the ice cream!

Fir her birthday this year, she got a phone.  She was oh so very excited, she has wanted one for a very long time.  She's so very busy socially, all the time she is off with friends, it was time for her to have a phone so that we could get hold of her while she was out with her friends.

She quit gymnastics in the spring, but she continues to keep herself super busy.  She is in cheerleading- which she loves and is very good at, and she is also doing choir at school.  She has voice lessons and is developing her voice talents.  She is the best baker ever.  If we need cakes, cookies, cupcakes or anything like that, she is happy to make them for us.  She is better at it than I will ever be.

She is such a great child to have in our home.  She is laid back and fun to be around.  She is rarely emotional, but she is a great friend to those around her.   She loves to have her room clean, and she has taken it upon herself to decorate her room.  I love to see her creativity develop.

We are lucky to have her in our lives!
