Clell came to visit us for Labor Day. He really wanted to come see Schlitterbahn, he heard it was the most amazing water park ever. (Newsflash, the one in Galveston was not). They came out Thursday night and stayed until Monday afternoon. They were so excited to go swimming.
They had a very serious nerf war. When it was dark outside, we played murder in the dark. They really really liked that.
We went to Urban Air Trampoline Park. They had trampolines, a zipline, bumper cars, and a climbing wall. The kids really enjoyed it.
We spent the day on Sunday at the ranch- riding four wheelers and playing in the pond. I took Clell and Lana on a ride in the back to show them the forest and there were banana spiders that had built big webs in our way. We drove through one and the spider got on the Mule. Suddenly Clell was sitting in my lab because he was so scared of the spider. He killed the spider but it was still a couple of minutes before I could get him to move off my lab. At that point he was no longer interested in seeing the forested part of our land.
We even convinced Adam to come visit for the day since he didn't go out to the cabin last summer.
On Monday morning, we walked down to the creek. Clell was super impressed that we had a creek right there that we could go and swim in. He thought I had undersold it to him and I admit, we don't utilize it like we could with having it so close.
