Because of covid, the kids were allowed to have a Homecoming parade, a Homecoming dress up week, a Homecoming football game, but no Homecoming dance. They postponed the dance until a later date. Because they were still having the dance, they still got to exchange mums. I made three mums this year- one for Michael, one for Ana (his girlfriend) and one for Jonas, Ellie's boyfriend.
Michael's was my favorite.
Jonas' asking Ellie to the dance:
Jonas gave Ellie the biggest mum- it had flashing lights and a cowbell and a teddy bear with a cheer uniform on.
The funniest tag on it was this one:
The week of the homecoming game, Ellie and her friends decided to dress up and go to dinner and hang out even though there was no dance. This was their group.
They started at a friend's house where they took pictures with their group.
Then they got on a party bus and went downtown to the waterwall.
After that, they went to dinner at Maggianos. At the end of the evening, they played games at a friends house.
Michael and Ana decided to wait until the student council officially had a homecoming dance. It was in November, after the covid rates had gone down. They got dressed up, went to Shogun with Will Blackburn and his girlfriend, then they went to the dance at the school. They had a great time!
