JV Football Cheer

Ellie was super excited to be on the JV cheer team this year.  Sophomores are not allowed to be on the varsity cheer team, but they are allowed on the JV cheer team.  Her team has mostly sophomores, but also some juniors on it.  They didn't cheer at very many games this season, but they did have fun at them.

They had a pool party as a get to know you, as well as a pool party when they were decorating denim jackets for homecoming.

When they first join the team, they have two different cheer uniforms that they buy- one that matches everyone else in cheer, and one that is specific for their team.  They also have practice clothes for every day of practice in a week, raincoats, sweatshirts and bows to match them all.  Whenever there is an event, the coach sends a picture with exactly what they are expected to wear (including bra and spanx) and how they are supposed to do their hair.  They even all have the same color of lipstick.

The varsity team gets to do routines at pep rallies.  Usually the coach pulls a couple of girls from the JV team to help them perform their routines, and Ellie got chosen to be part of that for two of the pep rallies.

At the last football game, Ellie got the golden poms for the cheerleaders.  They give them to one cheerleader a week that is working really hard.
