Adam is 17

Adam turned 17! He stayed home to open presents and blow out candles on his cake before he was off to be with friends.

Some things about Adam- 1. he is still dating Ashlyn.  They have been together about a year now.  They go to different high schools and are in different grades (Adam is a junior and Ashlyn is a sophomore), but we are all in the same ward.

2. Adam is especially good at math and physics.  He does fine in his English and Spanish classes, but physics just clicks for him.

3. He wants to go into business in college.  

4. His best friends at church are a group of 4 girls: Macy, Masyn, Megan and Ashlyn.  There aren't any boys in his grade in our ward, so he mostly hangs out with this group of girls.

5. He likes his hair a little long.  It has a little bit of wave in it, and he can wash it and go.  When it gets super long he will cut it, but for the most part he likes it longer on average.

6. He is really good at fixing things.  This is probably because his dad has spent so much time working with him to fix things and he has learned so much along the way. He also has spent a lot of time fixing up his car.

7. He really really really loves the TV show, the Office.  Any free time that he has he will watch it. He has seen the whole series about 5 times.

8. He gets along great with his siblings.  The only arguments he gets into are with Michael about how great Tesla's are. (Michael thinks they are the best thing ever).  Adam mostly does this just to see how much he can bug Michael.

9.  He works at Chic-Fila.  A lot.  He wants to be at work almost more than anywhere else.

10. His room is always a mess.  He always has dirty plates, cups, empty wrappers, trash and clothes strewn all over his bedroom, in his bathroom and in the hallway in between.  He doesn't like to get rid of things so there are a lot of collections of things he has gotten hidden in various bins throughout his room.

11. He is one of the most capable people I know. If you ask him to do something he can do it.  

12. He loves to do his work perfectly.  He spends almost twice as long as the next person finishing a job because he wants to make sure that it is done exactly right and to the best of his ability.

13. He is always looking for ways to improve things- he is constantly figuring things out to help how things work at his job.  

14. He likes to wear grey and blue shirts and sweatshirts.  Unless someone special gave him another shirt, it's pretty much just grey or blue.

15. He will eat any leftover that he finds in the fridge or freezer-especially if it is ice cream.

16. He hates to eat breakfast.  Probably because he can't be bothered with it.

17.  He likes to stay up really really late.  I sometimes hear him rummaging in the pantry at 2:30 at night.
