Day 3, Rappelling into a Sinkhole

Our last adventure we went rappelling into a large sinkhole.  We loaded into the open air trucks again and went to another area nearby. This time we had a longer hike and it was pretty steep on the way in.  We were climbing to the top of a mountain that the roof had fallen in to make a sinkhole underneath it.  When we got to the top of the sinkhole, we all put on repelling gear and replled down the side of it.  It was very very frightening for me.  When the guy put my rope on, he made it so that it went pretty fast on its own, I couldn't slow it down if I tried.  Ellie was a little scared too. No one else seemed to be much scared by it.

 Getting back out of the sinkhole we had steep switch backs and a couple of really long ladders that we had to climb to get back to the top of the mountain so that we could climb back down.  Our legs were so tired and sore by the time we were done.
