Ellie just had a birthday and turned 14! She and Joe got together and planned a black light swim party. It was super cool- there were black lights in the house and around the pool and decorations that lit up with the black lights. They got fluorescing face paint and glow in the dark light sticks. Unfortunately, the night before her party a super cold cold front blew in and the temperatures were in the 30’s, which is really rare for Houston. The kids still braved the cold and went swimming in the heated pool and hot tub. There were some fun party games the kids played as well.
Ellie is my social butterfly. Everything she does has to have lots of friends there, or she’s not interested in doing it. Her best friend is Ava Bascom. Her next best friends are her cheer friends. They do a lot of fun things together.
She loves to go shopping. She likes to buy new clothes. She loves to babysit so she’s always has extra money to spend on new clothes.
She’s quite helpful around the house. She keeps her room really clean. One of her jobs, that she gets paid for, is she’s the house cleaning service. She cleans the house as well as a maid service would do.
She’s super busy-she’s on the school cheer team, she’s in theater at school and currently has the less for the next play. She is also on an acrobatics and tumbling team at the nearby gym. All this and she gets straight A’s. She’s nice to us and pleasant to be around. We are so lucky to have Ellie in our lives.
