Concert Season in Band

As soon as marching season is over, the students in band immediately start working on their solo that they will use for competition later in the year.  The percussion students had a winter concert and Michael got to play some fun instruments.

Then they learn a solo that they take to a concierto competition. Michael made finalist in the concierto competition, and it was fun to watch him perform.

 At the end of the year, they had an awards banquet for band.  Michael got the Frosty award.  He also gave his band director, Mr. Flake, the Frosted Flake award.  It was great to see him make such great friends in band and have so much fun.

As soon as the banquet was over, they immediately started practicing for marching season next year.  They started learning their music and having multiple after school practices.
