Sandia Peak Tramway

We went through Albuquerque on our way out west.  We have gone through Albuquerque several times, but we have never stopped and ridden the Sandia Peak Tramway.  We decided to do it this time.  We made sure we were on one of the later rides so that we could see the sunset while we were at the top.  Partway up we looked down and we could see the remains from a plane that crashed in the 50's.  It was in a ravine way up the mountain, so it never was cleaned up all the way.

It was a lot higher than I thought it would be.  At first it was a little scary, but after a little bit it wasn't so scary anymore.

It was quite windy at the top and a little cold.  The restaurant that is at the top was under construction, so we ate at the restaurant that was at the bottom.

This is me getting burned by the sun on my hand.
