Adam went to Homecoming with his girlfriend, Ashlyn Lewis. They went with a large group of couples. They met, took pictures, went to Garrett's house where they had a formal dinner, and then they watched a movie and hung out together. They didn't go to the dance, since homecoming is all about the pictures, and not about the dance.
Adam asked Ashlyn creatively, he went to her seminary, and had a sign that said, "Would you bee my queen?" He dressed up like a bee and gave her a crown.
A Texas tradition that they have here is to exchange mums. Mums are these very large fake mum flowers decked out in ribbons and goodies. Adam and Ashlyn exchanged mums. Note that Adam goes to Oak Ridge high school, whose colors are red and blue, and Ashlyn goes to Grank Oaks high school, whose colors are orange and blue.
